If last season taught us anything it is that we need all the players we can get. Curbishley spent last summer signing players who were plagued by checkered injury problems, and he paid the price for doing so! Getting a reservation for the fitness table at West Ham was harder then getting into the Savoy Grill.

Desperate now to trim the squad and our enormous wage bill, we have reverted back to being a selling club… except for ticket sales of course, they are down 25%. I fear if we continue down this path of off-loading our talent, then we can look forward to a relegation dog fight again this season!
